We went to a little gathering last night and out of 7 people, 3 had been recently been laid-off, 1 had recently started a new job after being laid-off, 2 were looking for jobs because of uncertainties with their job, and the other still had a stable job.
What is wrong with that picture?

The workday scene is definitely ugly these days. Can't say I feel particularly secure myself. I don't think I'm in imminent danger, but it's something in the back of my mind.
Lets hope we are all safe.
