I was reading the December/January issue of Hispanic Magazine and they had an article about Antonio Briceno. Briceno is a photographer that is trying to capture the deitieis and gods of South America's oldest civilizations. The images are amazing. I especially like the ones below images in Dioses de America and Bazares.

The "Bazares" photos are fantastic. The "Dioses" ones are beautifully done, but almost too otherworldly, in my opinion. The expressions on the people's faces speak volumes. Some of the bizarre, manipulated backgrounds detract from the message the people push across. Thanks for sharing.
