I just got our dog a pearl necklace from Pier 1 today. She looks so cute :)

Vacations and Work Travel
It has been a long time since I last updated and it seems like more and more of my post have been starting like that.
I just returned from Costa Rica where I was for 8 days. The country is amazing and I met many wonderful people..both local and tourist. I did a lot of things while I was there like the zip lines in Arenal, hot springs that are heated by a volcano, kayaking with alligators and cayman around Damas Island and walked through a national park with all kinds of wild animals in Manuel Antonio. My favorite thing was laying on the beach in Manuel Antonio with new friends and enjoying the weather.
When I go back I will skip spending the night in San Jose though. I did not care much for the city so next time I will fly into San Jose and take a flight into the local airport in Quepos.
And tomorrow I leave for DC. I will be there through Wednesday stuck in a conference but the great thing about this trip is that I get to see one of my blogger friends! Yay for bloggers!

Ouch! My back!
I threw out my back working out at the gym today. It hurts and I am loaded on pain killers, muscle relaxers, and wine and it still hurts.
Oh, and aren't dogs suppose to sense when you are hurt or sick? Not my dog, I was laying on the couch after I applied biofreeze and she jumps on my back and then settles in between my legs. She doesn't care. She is more concerned about being comfortable. Bitch!

Halloween
B and I looked for outfits but there wasn't anything that we really liked so we pulled out his old Halloween box and found two outfits. He was a cop and I was a referee. We went to a Halloween party on Friday night and he won 5th place for his costume...I didn't place. Oh well, better luck next year.
On Saturday our neighborhood had a Pooch Parade and we decided to enter L in the parade. She wore her Pocahontas outfit and she won 1st place for most original costume. I was very proud and we came home and she had all the treats she wanted.
